Postpartum doulas works closely with mothers who have just given birth and support them with housework and childcare. I provide continuous my one-on-one care, as
well as physical and emotional support.
Deep rest is a mother's most essential work post-birth, to recover and heal.
Postpartum confinement is a traditional practice following childbirth in many countries. Among Southeast Asian and East Asian cultures, mothers
spend 20 to 30 days, and in some countries up to 40 days, indoors, avoiding physical activity, eating a restorative diet, and deeply resting.
Although it may not be visible to be naked eyes, childbirth causes the pelvis to expand. The mother's body is undergoes significant strain and
transformations, as the placenta detaches from the uterus following the birth. To support recovery
- both physically and emotionally - it is important for the mother to rest, to remain idle and leave household tasks to others.
However, in today's fast-paced society, many mothers struggle to take the rest they need. New parents often lack nearby relatives or
friends to offer support, making it difficult to manage both housework and childcare after birth. This growing need has led to the emergence of postpartum doulas.
After giving birth, be sure to ask someone for help.
Postpartum support is essential for recovery from birth, nurturing a new mother's mental well-being, and ensuring the
newborn is well cared for. I encourage you to embrace postpartum care services so you can truly thrive during this sacred time, both physically and mentally.
My mission is to shower mothers with love and care.
After giving birth, mothers do everything they can to care for their babies. Even when they’re exhausted or overwhelmed, they often push
through without a break.
As a postpartum doula, my mission is to stand by and support these incredible mothers. I'm
here not only to help with household tasks and childcare but also to be a listening ear - a source of comfort and reassurance. I truly believe that when mothers receive the care and love they
deserve, they can nurture their children with even more love and kindness.
